How to Join
Interested in joining the Engineering Society and becoming a priveledge member of UTS' most established club? There are several methods of doing this:
1. Head down to the Pool Competition, Tuesdays from 5pm - 7p @ Glasshouse Bar.
This is the most direct method of joining, as you will be given your metal membership card, stockmarket discount card and beer card directly.
2. Join as a member when you buy a non-member ticket for an Engsoc event.
Everytime you buy a ticket to an Engsoc event and are not a member, you will pay $5 extra. Why not become a member when you buy your ticket? You have already paid $5 and it will save you money for subsequent tickets purchase for Engsoc events.
Simply ask the union desk for a membership form, and when you have filled it in, ensure that they give you the reciept at the bottom of the form and write "event membership" on the details part.
3. Join as a member through the union desk.
The UTS Union desk is located on level 3 - near the food court. You may become a member of Engsoc through this depending on who is on. If Frankie or Happy is on, they'll know what to do, others may be a bit more lost.
Please ensure you get a reciept for membership in addition to the bottom half of the membership form you have completed. Bring this to the Pool Comp Tuesdays 5pm - 7pm toget your membership card.
